Oliver Stone is no stranger to contreversial films. His latest offering, a biopic on George W. Bush, should place Oliver in a familiar role. People have been waiting for this for a long time. No...not Bush leaving office although that countdown has been going on for quite some time. But this movie is highly anticipated as well seeing as though Bush was not just one of the most openly clowned presidents but also one of the most secretive.
The movies timing probably could not be more perfect - the middle of October and the peak of election time.
Casting for the movie is also brilliant. Condoleezza Rice should agree. Thandie Newton is cast in her place and is sure to re-write history by making Ms Rice a bit gentler on the eyes. There probably is no love interest in the movie for Conde, or in real life for that matter, so all the fellas can put any thoughts of potential nudity on hold. Judging from the trailer, make-up artist did a swell job of putting the ugly Betty on Thandie.

Then you have Jeffrey Wright playing Colin Powell. Whether it was "Syriana" or "The Manchurian Candidate" Jeffrey delivers in a big way especially in movies with socio-political significance.
The movie is out October 17th barring any unforeseen circumstances. Take your republican friends that voted for W. twice.
Other notable actors include Richard Dreyfuss as Dick Cheney and Josh Brolin as George W. Bush.
