Kanye's Latest Release Indicate Pending Takeover

The middle of this decade saw Mr. West’s introduction and subsequent dominance with the 2004 release of College Drop Out. That groundbreaking album was quickly followed up with Late Registration in 2005 and Graduation in 2007. Add to that Love Lockdown and his impression is definitely felt. With his return to the MTV Video Music Awards this year, Kanye West may be clearing the lanes for another industry takeover.

The way I choose to sift through this music game is to constantly be on the lookout for the hottest ‘non-mainstream’ artists out here. Curren$y, coming out of New Orleans, is part of the newer generation of rappers blessing consumers with new lanes to travel for lyrical and musical enjoyment.
