The vibrations of sound waves; the crest and trough; the wavelength and amplitude can be controlled by an individual who has the knowledge of hitting the right frequencies & levels at the right time (Mood Setter). At that moment one has the power to heal, to drive, to install motivation in a bio-degradable vessel without moving the physical senses.
We call this the art Music.
On my journey searching for best vibrations the underground has to offer I stumbled upon the rebirth of vocal purity. Superb female vocals on A track entitled "Slow Down" by legendary Mississippi Hip-Hop Physician/Scientist; David Banner which features 21 year old Wilson, NC native; Heather Victoria; produced by 9th wonder. Discovered in 2009 by producer E. Jones & 9th wonder she is NOW currently working with the two on her mix-tape "Victoria's Secret" which she plans to release 4th Quarter, 2010. ---------- (E. Jones is a member of 9th wonder's newfangled production team: THE SOUL CONGLOMERATE).

This discovery lead me to tune in to the young songstress! Here is what I've found..........
Her mom Gigi A. Mitchell, a stage play actress was also a member of the mid 80's band; ULTRASONIC. She would be H V's mentor & 1st influence. Her father, Victor Gavin was a trained saxophonist. Not limiting herself to family influences she also has very strong taste in other inspiring vocalist ranging from Beyonce, to Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, and Lauryn Hill. She has been singing in church since the age of 10, she participated in the school choir from 6th-10th grade, and Vocal Ensemble from 11th-12th grade.
In contrast we have a mid 80's vocalist/stage play actress plus a saxophone player (the most intimate of all tenor instruments) yields a strong lineage, musicians branch out all over her family tree.
As a musician the first question you always will ever ask, and would want to ask another musician is "Why music"? When asked this particular question Heather replies, "Music is my life and my first love, Its in my blood! I feel singing was something that I feel was given to me from God, an its only right that I pursue it"! And shes right, if u don't use it, you will surely lose it.
Through her music Heather has an even stronger ambition to reach the female gender in particular. She states, "I want to inspire women in particular to live spontaneously and pursue their passion, whatever it may be. "I write about personal situations, music needs to relate to everyday situations as much as possible in order to reach the listeners". That statement alone gets a standing ovation. The now music isn't touching the women of today who has a different mindset than the women of the past.
With R&B evolving, and the lack of substance dehydrating the brain, I suggest you tune in to True Music. For more vibes check out her MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/heathervictoria08 -------
