While Hip-Hop artist Kanye West and professional skater Terry Kennedy have garnered a lot of recent attention to their respective Air Yeezy and TK Society high top sneakers there is a lesser known designer out of Japan who may have a hotter kick.
Ato Matsumoto is a Japanese designer and founder of the brand ato.
While the label may have only come to light in the past few years when on the feet of Mr. West, ato has been in effect since the '90s. The ato label recently released the Cow Hide Boot now available online at oki-ni .
Notice ato's signature style of overlapping velcro straps in think of the number of shoe makers that have used ato as inspiration.
